E-BIS Ltd is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the structured cabling to the new flagship Harvey Nichols Store within The Mailbox in Birmingham and where they are installing an Excel Categoy 5e system.

Set to almost double in size to over 45,000 square feet, the existing store will be relocated to the heart of The Mailbox’s new ‘Urban Room’ space, designed by award-winning architects Stanton Williams.

SEM – The Bridge Dartford

E-BIS Ltd is proud to have been appointed to install the structured cabling installation to the new 122,500 square foot headquarters for high technology manufacturing company SEM at The Bridge in Dartford.

SEM designs and produces high quality electric motors that are used in motion control industry sectors such as machine tools, renewable energy, and robotics, printing and medical equipment.  By moving to the new building, which will include facilities for clean manufacturing, laboratories, research and development facilities, headquarters offices, materials storage and staff facilities, the company will be able to update and future-proof its processes within a highly controlled environment.

E-BIS Ltd is to install an Excel Category 6A U/FTP Structured cabling system, Server Room and Warehouse Cabinets along with a 16C OM3 Fibre Optic Backbone.

The new building, which has been designed by Prologis to achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘very good’ accreditation and the best EPC rating possible for its size, is on schedule to complete by the end of the year.

Although the majority of SEM’s products are exported to an established customer base worldwide, SEM is committed to retaining its manufacturing base in the UK and this new facility represents a significant investment.

College of West Anglia – LRC Building

Henry Schein Headquarters Facility

E-BIS Ltd is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the Excel Category 6 structured cabling for the New Henry Schein Headquarters Facility in Gillingham.

The construction project, designed by The Harris Partnership, Ltd., will be built in two phases. The first phase will consist of 22,000 sq. ft. of office space spanning two floors and the construction of a 63,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art warehouse facility for storage and distribution of dental, animal health and medical products.

E-BIS Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the Category 7A Structured Cabling installation to the new 169,000 sq ft unit on the Birch Coppice Business Park in Tamworth to car components supplier DAU Draxlmaier Automotive UK Limited, a supplier of electrical components to the automotive industry.

With approximately 50,000 employees worldwide, the Dräxlmaier Group is among the largest family-owned companies in Germany.

Since it was founded in 1958, the company has developed and manufactured modern wiring harness systems, exclusive interiors and central electrical and electronic components, with a clear focus on the premium automotive segment.

The Category 7A product specified for this project is from Excel.

College of West Anglia

E-BIS Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the Excel structured cabling for the New Creative Arts Building at the College of West Anglia and where we are one of 4 preferred data installers.

The former sports centre is undergoing a £2.5million refurbishment to become a state-of-the-art hub for the creative industries, including TV, film, performing arts and workshops for crafts, including ceramics. The centre is due to be completed for a summer 2014 opening.

The College of West Anglia (CWA) is one of the largest and most successful education and training providers in the Eastern Region and amongst the top colleges in the country.

Across three campuses in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire – King’s Lynn, Isle (Wisbech) and Cambridge – and local learning centres, they offer the widest choice of learning opportunities in the region.

The College of West Anglia has recently invested over £25m to improve the King’s Lynn and Isle campuses, refurbishing several existing buildings as well as creating new, state-of-the-art technology centres in King’s Lynn and Wisbech. The Isle campus will be undergoing further redevelopment work, with a further £5.5m investment taking place with a completion date of summer 2015.

The new site will be home to a state of the art multi-temperature food service distribution centre, enabling them to operate a full-service distribution network to service the area from Warrington.
