A G Barr – Following on from recent project wins with large retailers/distributors, we are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract to supply and install the structured cabling infrastructure to a new manufacturing and distribution centre for A G Barr in Milton Keynes.

A G Barr has been a soft drinks business since 1875 making, marketing and selling some of the UK’s best loved soft drinks brands

The project will include the installation of  Server Room cabinets, 8 warehouse cabinets, a 24c OS2 fibre optic backbone system and Category 6 UTP cabling to the Warehouse and office areas. 

The new facility is being built on a 12.7 acre site and will have a built up area of 265,000 square feet. It will include about 95,325 square feet (8,856 square metres) of production area and 129,909 square feet (12,069square metres ) of warehouse and distribution space. The production and warehouse space includes 31,280 square feet (2,906 sqaure metres) of space for future expansion.

Other infrastructure includes 25,317 square feet (2,352 square metres) of office space, external storage containers, carbon dioxide and sugar tanks and other enclosed plant areas.
